Walk on the Water
Sunday I had the opportunity to take a walk out on the frozen bay and view the pressure ridges. Essentially, they're proof that these immense masses of ice are moving up against the land, so something's gotta give.
Unsurprisingly, it was a fantastic walk and, just like last week's science talk, gave me the same feeling I had when we finally spotted land flying in. And the same feeling I got stepping off the plane onto the ice for the first time. So completely the right choice to come down here.
